1. What is ultrasonic liposuction?
It is a procedure that uses ultrasonic waves to break up the fat to more easily remove it. It is useful in certain areas where the fat is resistant.
2. Can the fat come back?
No. Once the fat is removed, it cannot come back.
3. Is it true that other areas get fat after liposuction?
This is not true.
4. Is liposuction surgery painful?
Liposuction is in a class of surgeries that have the least amount of pain.
5. When can exercising be resumed?
Usually at 3 weeks.
6. How much time off work is required?
Most recommend a week of off work.
7. Where are the scars located after liposuction?
The scars are small, only about 4 mm. They are usually placed in areas that are not visible (skin creases) to hide them.
